Strategic planning and other planning tools

Strategic Plan: BTS has a multi-year strategic plan, there are four strategic priorities. The current strategic plan’s validity is up to 2021.

  • Enhanced children capacity for establishing their rights
  • Community mobilization for collective actions for child protection
  • Advocacy for policy development / reform and implementation
  • Institutional Capacity Enhancement of BTS

BTS has been developed the organizational master budget and plan based on the strategic actions which reflect in different program and projects. Besides, based on the strategic priority indicators a result-based monitoring and evaluation plan of the organization has been prepared. Considering the organization's Monitoring & Evaluation Plan, each project develops a separate Monitoring & Evaluation plan. Every project also develops its periodic and monthly implementation plan. The program plan is usually reviewed at the annual planning meeting based on regular monitoring findings and is used in new project design.

  • Rescue of the victim children especially from child marriage and forced prostitution

Community Based Child Protection

  • Networking & Maintaining liaison with concerned departments of the government and related CSO and NGOs
  • Workshop, seminar & sharing meetings
  • Development of communication materials
  • Development of curriculum materials and sharing with the education department of government
  • Implementation of NPA & CRC
  • Media campaign

Promote Child Friendly Governance

  • Meetings with local government representatives to make the governance more child friendly
  • Advocacy to allot a portion of budget of local government for the children
